FantaSea 2011: Haulover Beach pre-cruise weekend

Just as stretching is important before exercise, so is a small warm-up vacation important before a big vacation. With that in mind, we went to Haulover Beach for a long weekend and got to visit some old friends.

That little building in the middle is Ocean Palms Resort motel. Claims to be the oldest roadside motel in Florida. Great location, easy walking distance to the nude beach. It's amazing this little place has survived the onslaught of giant condos on Miami Beach.
