Fantasy Fest 2012 - Part 2 (of 3)

Here is Part 2 of our Fantasy Fest 2012 vacation.

Be warned, many of these pictures are not suitable for children and should not be viewed from work. You may see things you would wish to un-see including nudity and less-than-perfect bodies. Please govern yourself accordingly.

This girl was a perfect blend of great paint and matching costume on a beautiful body. Throw in a winning smile and her obvious joy at being there, and she was a winner.

The Willie-T's girl! I approached her last year in very similar paint to see if she knew anything about a friend who used to work there (she didn't) and when I saw her again this year, I had to say hi and chat a bit. Her paint was lots more colorful this year.

Props to this young lady for humoring me when I made a joke about her birthday. I'm sure she was thinking "yeah, like I haven't heard that one a hundred times tonight."
DSC_2105.jpg

Just a terrific costume. Very well done.
DSC_2109.jpg

Lucy got candy from this guy and said he wasn't pervy at all. Looks legit!
DSC_2111.jpg

I'm amused by people who want to be in the picture with who they're getting a picture of. Don't know why, just am.
DSC_2114.jpg

I often see details in my pictures that I totally missed at the time.
DSC_2115.jpg

Can't go wrong with a butterfly. :)
DSC_2116.jpg

One of several women this year who appeared to be completely nude except for paint. I don't have anything against it, but I wonder if they spend the entire evening standing up.
DSC_2117.jpg

There's no way around it, taking pictures with an iPad looks goofy. When someone handed Lucy their iPad and asked her to snap their pic with it, I had to get a pic of my own.
DSC_2120.jpg

Fantastic paint! I would love for someone to teach me how to do that.
DSC_2123.jpg

These guys were awesome! At first I thought it was yet another "show me your boobs" mammogram scam, but they were much better. They had a well rehearsed patter that ended with Lucy receiving a personalized certificate and a prescription for a couple drinks. Well done!
DSC_2124.jpg

Cute.
DSC_2125.jpg

This is our friend, Frankie Caron. He's a friend and a professional artist who paints at Fantasy Fest each year. The painting he's working on here won a contest for him this year.
DSC_2127.jpg

The girl in the orange looks familiar, very familiar. I think we met her on last year's Fantasy Fest cruise. Will look for pictures later.
DSC_2129.jpg

At Fantasy Fest, staring at a woman's breasts is allowed.
DSC_2131.jpg

Us and the two other couples who shared the house this year. That's Lucy and me on the right.
DSC_2132.jpg

Remember Harry and those tattoos? Oh yeah, he's still at it, and why not? Everyone needs a hobby!
DSC_2134.jpg

Another all-paint costume.
DSC_2136.jpg

And yet another, this time possibly the best paint that I saw this year. Beautiful paint on a beautiful woman and she knew it.
DSC_2140.jpg

The back looked great, too.
DSC_2141.jpg

Ewww. LOL!
DSC_2142.jpg

Sometimes, all you need is a great prop, like the guy who mounted a couple gloved hands on a meat scale and invited passersby to weigh their breasts. He was getting plenty of takers!
DSC_2147.jpg

Brilliant!
DSC_2149.jpg

This was nice, and a reminder that an airbrush isn't necessary for fun bodypaint.
DSC_2155.jpg

USA! Wait, shouldn't it be red, white, then blue? :)
DSC_2158.jpg

A work in progress. I'm not certain what the bowl of money was for.
DSC_2163.jpg

More people would watch sports if all the fans dressed like this.
DSC_2164.jpg

Nice matching pair paint.
DSC_2165.jpg

And to end for now, a couple of cuties wandering down the street. I love this party!

Stay tuned for the final installment from Fantasy Fest 2012!

  1. I think the bowl of money was a tip jar, I saw a few of those - the artists felt that their models should be tipped if you were taking photos.

I guess everyone at the house owes me a few bucks. :)
